Pieces of "small things" bring together the big picture of people’s livelihood.　

On March 7th, when General Secretary of the Supreme Leader participated in the deliberation of Qinghai delegation, A Shengqing, the only representative of the Tu people’s congress in China, reported the changes of Ban Yan Village to the General Secretary.

Banyan Village, Fifty Town, Huzhu Tu Autonomous County, Haidong City, Qinghai Province, is one of the villages visited by the General Secretary. Once, the villagers here lived in areas with inconvenient travel and serious water shortage for generations; Nowadays, the villagers have lived a happy new life because of ex situ poverty alleviation and relocation.　

When communicating with the representative of A Shengqing, the scene of the general secretary asking in detail about the "electric kang" was impressive.　

After listening to representative A Shengqing’s speech, the general secretary asked, "What are the villagers’ electric kang?"　

Deputy A Shengqing replied: "It’s more affordable, and it costs a few cents a night." The general secretary nodded slightly.　

In 2016, when General Secretary of the Supreme Leader visited Ban Yan Village, there was no such kang in the village. At that time, the general secretary was particularly concerned about the heating effect of the kang in the new home of the villager Lu Youzhang.　

On the morning of August 23, 2016, General Secretary of the Supreme Leader inspected the housing pattern and building quality in the new home of Lu Youzhang, a villager in Banyan Village.
　

From the concern about the heating effect of the fire kang in those days to the detailed inquiry about the electric kang now, the heating methods of the villagers are changing, but the general secretary’s concern for people’s livelihood has always been the same.　

"How many people married their wives last year? "How to get to Gacha?" "Do your tourists stay in the village" … … At the National People’s Congress over the years, there are still many "small things" that the General Secretary is concerned about. Every "little thing" reflects a big problem of people’s livelihood.　

When attending the deliberation of the Qinghai delegation, the General Secretary stressed that efforts should be made to fill the shortcomings of people’s livelihood, solve the problems of people’s livelihood, grasp the bottom line of people’s livelihood, do a good job in employment, education, social security, medical care, pension, child care, housing and other livelihood issues, and improve the accessibility and equalization level of public services.　

People’s livelihood promises to respond to people’s expectations. In this year’s government work report, 53,000 old urban communities were rebuilt, the per capita financial subsidy standard for residents’ medical insurance was increased by 30 yuan, and the basic pension was "17 consecutive increases" & HELIP; … Every measure to benefit the people is full of gold.　

I believe that this list of people’s livelihood will also become a "happiness list" and enter the lives of the people.　

The first National People’s Congress, which entered the 14th Five-Year Plan and entered a new stage of development, is of great significance.　

General Secretary of the Supreme Leader always mentions "people" when making arrangements for various tasks.　

Talking about ecology, the general secretary said: "benefit the people and benefit the descendants."　

Talking about health, the general secretary said: "Keep the people’s ‘ Life-saving money ’ 、‘ Life-saving money ’ 。”　

Talking about education, the General Secretary said: "Run a satisfactory education for the people."

On the afternoon of March 6th, General Secretary of the Supreme Leader came to Friendship Hotel to visit the members of medical and health circles and education circles attending the Fourth Session of the 13th Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, and to attend the joint meeting.

The "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan" period is the first five years after China has built a well-off society in an all-round way and achieved the first century-long struggle goal, taking advantage of the situation to start a new journey of building a socialist modern country in an all-round way and March towards the second century-long struggle goal.　

The outline of the 14th Five-Year Plan, which has just been officially announced, not only focuses on the phased tasks of the 14th Five-Year Plan, but also anchors the long-term goal in 2035.
　

Focusing on the tasks of the Tenth Five-Year Plan, the planning outline has set 20 main indicators in five categories: economic development, innovation-driven, people’s livelihood and welfare, green ecology, and security, of which 7 are related to people’s livelihood and welfare. Compared with the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan", the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan" has added indicators such as "the number of practicing (assistant) doctors per thousand people" and "the number of infants under three years old per thousand people", which highlights the new needs of the people for a better life.

At the National People’s Congress in 2021, the General Secretary pointed out during the deliberation of the Qinghai delegation: "Closely combine high-quality development with meeting the needs of people’s better life, promote the organic combination of adhering to ecological priority, promoting high-quality development and creating high-quality life, and complement each other."

This reminds people of a remark made by the General Secretary during the deliberation of the Inner Mongolia delegation at the National People’s Congress in 2020 — — "the Communist Party of China (CPC) has its roots in the people and its blood in the people.
